Round 2 started...

Chemo round 2 started and is going well. Dave was at the Hospital for about 5 hours and got his 2 injections, chemo pump and pre and post hydration all done. He has felt a little nauseated and has thrown up a little. This is to be expected. He is now resting comfortably. He had a long and somewhat exhausting day.

Well, it seems like it has been a lifetime or 3 since this all start but it has only been 3 weeks. We forgot that they were going to put in a request for a port-a-cath surgery. So out of the blue, yesterday we get a call from the PLC vascular day surgery saying that we will be having it done on Thursday! Plans are definitely made for Changing!!! It has become my motto. So tomorrow morning we get up bright and early and head to the PLC for the minor surgery placement and hopefully Dave will be home and in bed by supper!

So as Dave would say...Praying people start your engines! Here we go!
