Well what an exciting Halloween once again!! This time with 2 munchkins in tow. We had a verybusy day and it was quite enjoyable but we are definitely planning on changing things next year. We started taking the boys into my work when Caleb was little. We did what you would call reverse trick or treating; we handed out the Candy to my co-workers. We want them to get used to the idea that this Holiday was not only about getting. We try to instill the same thing at Christmas. This is even a more important tradition this year since Noah is very limited to the candy he can have. It also lets me show off my boys in there cute costumes!!!
Upon leaving the hospital, a certain someone exploded in the lion costume. Luckily, I had bought the monkey costume on sale when Caleb was little. So I had a back up for him. After a quick catnap in the car and a coffee for mom; we picked up our "Zoo Keeper" aka Dad and headed over to Grandma Dillen's house. Caleb and Noah did some 'trick or treating' with Daddy and Grandma(Grandma showing off some of her grandkids). Caleb got really upset at the first house but then eventually got into it. He used his manners most of the time without cueing. After grandma's house we hit some other friends houses to show the boys to them! We were planning to make it to our neighbourhood and then the church family party. This didn't happen. We enjoyed our visit with friends but next year we are going to stay close to home and do our neighbourhood and our church party.
We hope that you all had a great Halloween and got a great Haul!!!
