No PET scan for you! Pardon, you must be joking.
Unfortunately, you cannot have biopsies or surgery 10days prior to the PET scan. Dave had his Endoscope yesterday and they took some biopsies. These things happen in the hospital, there is no use getting upset since you can't change it. It only pushed the PET scan by 13days, so it will happen just once again a little later. They are now just working on getting his pain management managed and he should be back home on Friday.
On a cute and touching note.
This morning Caleb came out into the living room and said "Mommy"
And I answered "Yes, Caleb." (thinking to myself it was going to be about poop or pee.)
"Daddy still gone?"
"Yes, Caleb. Daddy is still at the hospital."
" I missum."
"Me too, Caleb."
So we are all looking forward to having him home on Friday.
