Here we go...

Well, Good news Dave's ultrasound came back clear. Bad news Dave's ultrasound came back clear. Meaning that it doesn't appear that the cancer is growing or spread but there is also nothing appearing to cause the pain. Our wonderful Oncologist and our super star homecare nurse rallied and are thinking that it could be a ulcer in the stomach. So they are switching up Dave's meds including weaning him off Decadron.( It is hard on the stomach and he is getting what is called a cushnoid face...chipmunky) Dr. Easaw is working at booking an outpatient endoscopy to see what is going on in the stomach and causing his pain. At this point it shouldn't cause a hiccup for the surgery but it should be made better... Here is to hoping that the PET scan goes as planned on Wednesday and getting our consult with our GI surgeon.
