So in the past few weeks we have taken the boys to 2 ball games. One Calgary Viper Game and an Okotoks Dawgs game. They both loved it. The Viper game Noah entertained the fans around us, looking for the 'nake and calling for him. At one point the Snake heard him and came right on over. He was thrilled. The viper's game also in support of Breast Cancer and Rider day! It was a hot one, it was over 31 outside and with no breeze in the stadium it was close to 35-40 in the stands. We drank 6 waterbottles, 3 large pepsi, 2 large lemonades and were still thirsty. All in all it was a great afternoon but it would have been better if the Vipers won!
Last night was the Dawgs game in Okotoks. We met some friends and their little guys but they had to dash early since the 3 month old just wasn't wanted to sleep. It was still great to see them! It was an evening game so it was definitely cooler than the Viper's game but it had one draw back it was an evening game(did I mention that) So with a tied game at the end of 9 innings they went into extra innings(here is where the draw back comes into play). The crowd was into it, starting the wave, cheering loudly and in the bottom of the 11th inning the Dawgs score the winning run and win the game! So needless to say when we got to the house it was closer to Midnight and the boys were passed out from a great day!
